In this video, we take a look at how Chapman Basketball used Hudl’s ecosystem — including Hudl cameras, FastScout, FastModel, and Instat — to identify, track, and improve one key offensive metric throughout the season: assist rate.
After finishing the previous season with 51% of made baskets assisted, the staff made assist opportunities a year-long point of emphasis. Through analytics, practice film, individual player playlists, and constant reinforcement, the team raised that number to 57.4%, while also using the data to better understand shot quality, paint finishing, and player development needs.
